I was referring to one of my previous posts LOL. While I'm old I'm not quite old enough to have been at Iwo. AND for the record My mother was a jew of German descent who's family came to the US in the mid to late 1800's. The members that stayed in Europe suffered greatly and we just recently were able to unearth records of family long since lost.

Dad on the other hand was Scotch/Irish from the Ohio/Kentucky border area.

It's no wonder we children grew up dazed and confused!!

LOL...my ma tells me, 'I wasnt born, i was hatched' on a side note, my Dads dad was a concentration camp victim. He had a tatooed number on his arm. Never spoke about it, ever.

One of the tricks I've learned about painting eyes: the pupil always hangs from the upper lid. Don't know if that's true in reality (whatever that is Big Smile [:D] ) but it always looks right on figures.

I especially like the german officer. Lots of expression. Good skin colors.

Definitely a good start. Agree withteh previous poster, Nelson's eyes are too wide open. The in  progress head's eyes are uneven. Trick to get the eyes right. Use pale flesh for the whites. Use brown or blue for the eiris. As you paint the eyes, look at he face in a mirror. I don't know whiy or how this works, but you'll be able to tell if the eyes are properly aligned better than if you look directly at the face.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Great work youve done there, Skin shading is excellent, My only comment is lord Nelson looks truly petrafied .I think this is due to seing to much of the whites of the eyes, the whites should be an of white aswell .Thats only my opinion but the most part is excellent.
