Here's the definitive source on the French & Indian War figures. Some of the best are from the Michael Roberts range.

Hey everyone, I've decided to that I want to do a figure model, and who better to ask than the guys and gals that do it daily. Does any one have good links to purchase them and some reference material that they don't mind sharing with me? I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm really open to anything and everything, I'm a big fan of military WWII and up, I'm not big into sci-fi but I do like the fantasy genre, I like to be opened minded about things and explore different options.

What period of history interests you the most? Are there movie genres that you particularly like? With this information, I can suggest some specific figures or manufacturers.

It's always best to work on a subject near and dear to you than to do something just to do something.

Here's my favorite guy... cheaper than most, and fast shipping. Takes Paypal, too- which can be hard to find.

History On Display

He sells WWI and beyond, but pretty much all military... if that's yer bag.

Hope that helps...

Steve

Squadron is always a good start. Get some Dragon figures and some vallejo paints (or your preferred brand) and start modeling. Use the search engine on the forums for reference.

Good luck,

David

On the bench:

1/35 Tamiya M26 Pershing-0%

1/144 Minicraft P-38J Lightning-50%

Numerous 1/35 scale figures in various stages if completion.

Hey everyone, I've decided to that I want to do a figure model, and who better to ask than the guys and gals that do it daily. Does any one have good links to purchase them and some reference material that they don't mind sharing with me? I'm really looking forward to it.
