If your looking for dress uniform types, Master Box came out with a set recently, Europe 1945, of two US soldiers in dress uniforms that have a couple of local maidens on their arms as well. One is a paratrooper in side cap, OD dress uniform, and jump boots and the other a non jumper in Ike jacket, tan/"pink" dress trousers with dress shoes and service cap. A very relaxed group perfect for a diorama or vignette.

Several Tamiya 1/35 figures have the pose and equipment of typical WWII ETO company grade officers. The main difference will be the web gear. Officers usually did not cary the M1 Garand and its' cartridge belt. M1 Carbine, .45s, or Thompsons and a pistol belt with appropriate ammunition pouches and a canteen. Binoculars and rank bars are sniper bait. The white vertical stripe on the helmet is the biggest giveaway.

Just find the most arrogant looking one and put a verticle white stripe on the back of his helmet.

Just officers, no one specific.

Who manufacturers officers? Iv'e looked around and found nothing. Styrene or resin is OK.

Uh, Are you looking for officers or particular U.S. Generals?

If you are looking for Lt., Captains, Majors, Colonels, I think there are plenty of choices out there.

If you are looking for Eisenhower, Patton, Clark, Bradley, Marshall, MacArthur, etc. you will have limited luck.

On the losing end of a wishbone, and I won't pretend not to mind. ----------------------------------------------------------- 1/35 Dragon SdKfz 251/1 sMG Various 1/35 Figures 1/35 Dragon Stug III Ausf B. (Balkans)

There are plenty of German Officers, tons of U.S. emlisted men...but I can't think of any U.S. Officers other than Patton or MacArthur.

 Any suggestions?
