I finished this a week or so ago. I used Vallejo and Andrea acrylics.

Looks good. Might be the lighting, but there doesn't seem to be that much contrast in the skin tone. Lips look like they might be the same shade ans the rest of him. But, again, it might be the lighting.

Nice precision work with the painting. Uniform looks great, eyes look real.

A most interesting piece with all the verticle lines. As above, it may be the lighting, but the skin tonmes look kind of waxy (I prefer skin to be a bit warmer)and could use more contrasts. More shadows and highlilghts on the rest as well would give more visual interest.  The hand is sculpted a bit strange...more like a model of a prosthesis that a real hamd. If the ring and little fingers had been closed in more, it would have  looked more natural. All that said, it's a pretty good job. The right eye (left in the picture) looks especially good.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks for the feedback.  I had a lot of fun painting this piece but I think it would have turned out a little better if I would have been more patient.  The lighting is a problem as well, and I did forget to paint the lips Banged Head [banghead]. Thank you for the kind comments!

Overall, a nice job on the painting. Did you use incandescent lighting for the photo?
