Start with a base of dark gray. using stright black will allow you no where to go to get shadows. Use straight balck for the shadows. Add flesh color to the base for highlights. Don't use white...this will be too harsh and "zebra" like.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Paint question
Posted by Opiewan on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 12:53 PM
Hello, I am currently painting the 1/16 Tamiya Wahrmacht tank officer.  I am using vallejo and have the face completed and want to start on the uniform.  Is there a good vallejo color or mix for the black wool uniform or should I just use flat black? Thanks!
