Listen I've been cruising the " Bay " lately and what I ran across is scarey ! How about this ! A Paper Model of a Japanese or American carrier ? Careful now , I haven't said the posted price . How about $ 129.00 ? or even $169.00
same ships different $ 39 to $70 Bucks . Plus shipping .Same ship different seller !
Now there is an outfit called the Model Shipyard . They are higher priced .Why ? Well , the product is made from paper I believe . But the pulp is pulverized so fine that when the ships are printed it is on a paper that is practically miniature MDF .
That's right ! They even lazer cut the planks and frames to the right shapes necessary to build a very fine hull . No sanding needed !The rigging is strong out of the box , But they also offer detail up sets with wood to take the place of the original material for masts etc .
There are some changes in the Paper-Model world too .More are coming out of Poland and boy are they beautiful ! Wilemshaven seems to be gone . When I search they don't come up even on German sites !
What is out there is awesome and more vehicles are starting to show up including some better Armor , few but there ! Well , there it is . Bye ! T.B.
