Hey ,Gotta say this. Do you have another? If you do, it will be scads better to you. Why? because you have already then dealt with ALL the problem spots. I do ships mostly,But, I am liking (Paper/Card ) more every day!

     I have found quite a few on both E-Bay and Amazon as well. If Philo 426, wants more I would Suggest, Fenten's Modelbaubogen in Germany! That's where I got my latest groups. Oh, and one other. I bought the M.V. Mellum and her detail set, from a Company on the "Bay", I think it was called Ballzano's Hobbies. Great service and Honest too!

    I believe you will find those at either Wilemshaven, H.M.V. or Schreiber. I think maybe even Modelarz may have one. Pawel would probably be able to help here, Pawel?

Well, my suggestion would be to buy the Polish models directly in Poland - I can give you a few links if you like.

A 1:33 Catalina was once designed by Fly Model and I believe you can even find vac-formed "glass" for that model - especially important in case of those big bubble windows on the tail.

Unfortunately a quick search showed it appears to be out of stock for now... But you can take a look at this page:

Ok it may not look like much,but the front if the left front cowling consists of multiple parts that have to be traced and cut out of 1/16  "basswood!

22 inch wing span. 

I decided to use 1/48 HE11 main landing gear and a scratch built tail wheel.Much roughness must be addressed.

   This is youses foist model flying tingy in da paper Right? Well, don't diss youself like dat. Dis is a challenge you stepped up to. You are doing well. I will admit. It took me three planes before I got it super right. Learned something about a media I had never given a second look to.

   "Paper? What ,are you crazy?" Did an older model "E" Boat ( The Unarmored Wheelhouse) for my first one. In 1/250 it was scary. But,,you know what? After building it carefully I was hooked!

 And to tell the truth. Using the paper model as plans for a plastic duplicate? This can fight you. Unless it's flat panels and or something simple don't! I do plastic ships all the time scratch. I use the paper for GENERAL plans. 

     For the fiddley details on paper I still will use borrowed( From the parts box) Plastic goodies. Why? I can build a Cargo winch or Anchor windlass  in paper.BUT, I find working with the glue and the smallness of the pieces is now beginning to be difficult for me. Sorry Forum members, This modeler is looking at Parkinson's. Positive diagnoses last week.

     I will cheat and continue to build till I cannot hold a Hobby knife of any kind anymore.That's what I am going to do! Betchya I invent a whole lot of bench helper tools too!

Yes this was a tough one but it is turning out pretty well somewhat better than the Hampden because I cut out bass woid formers and wing panels to keep the parts straight.
