Are You tired of this Yet? Working on the Rio-Again.

Yeah!

Still working on this one Paper Ship. She looked fascinating AND I have seen her( The Real Ship)  with my own peepers,And I knew she started as the " Che Guevera"! She looked fascinating then, and still is even now. This has to be the one ship of modern vintage that has taken a huge amount of time. But, she's been a Relaxing Challenge. How can she be that Relaxing and a Challenge?

Well, each step requires me to fire up old skills to do her justice. Oh, she would've been fascinating in All paper, Because of what she is. But, to take her to a whole Other level became my goal. A tough Goal for sure. But as I look at each step I've made it confirms I wasn't mistaken in taking it on, and this was willingly, I might add.

I am now getting close to putting some more of her upper works( the Top Deck Or Work Deck) on now, finally. There are so many details to build that it seems the steps and callouts never stop. Then there's the pattern sheet and making the parts as called out and installing them. Some of those parts surely would have been hard to see without the detail work I undertook. There's pipe bridges, brackets, steps and channels that have to be made, sometimes out of very thin plastic strip to be in scale.

The challenge? Building them, Building them so they actually are strong enough to be handled, and then seeing it all come together as it should. As I look at each piece completed and installed I get as much satisfaction as if I had completed the rigging on a sailing ship's mast from Top to Deck! If you find this boring or whatever I will stop.        But, I just have to talk to someone. No one around here builds Models except a Neighbor and he's mainly into RailRoads now. Oh Yeah, he builds other stuff, but the items he builds are not even close to being in my budget.

I am still trying to figure out what to do about photos. I cannot afford to pay for a slot in a site. so there you go. Plus when I went back to Flickr I couldn't find my file anymore. This is because if I don't go to a site every day I forget how or forget my Passwords and Username. I know, I know, write it down. Then I can't find the page because I shake to much for those little pages to flip easily. It takes about as much time as talking to someone on the phone. I get frustrated and just quit!

If we could just have an easy way to go from the phone that would work. I can add photos to my texts all the time.    Have a good day

Try Imgur.  They have an app to upload from your phone to the site.

Thanks,

John
