Just a Reminder.

Hi!

This is just a reminder to those of you who are really into Aircraft. If you are careful, you can get to near plastic perfection with these kits. For instance on my 1/32 Mossie(British Mosquito Bomber). There is a whole couple of sheets of framing pieces. Take these and use as patterns for Poster board or if you want Thin foam core (For the heavier parts) and you will have better luck, I have found.

This allows you to take adjacent panels and put them together in a Butt joint instead of a slight overlap, which the printer recommends. By doing this you actually get a better Near scale appearance and feel to the parts. Don't be afraid to "Mist" and using a heated spoon or other tool to shape the parts. Oh, and remember the Vac-U-Form canopies can be used for those of all scale, aircraft in paper that have Cockpits. Many do! And you can open panels for sure, and not have to worry about scale thickness to the panel edges!
