oh 1 ? know of any were I can find 8th ms in the larger scale?

yes. the kits you want are the MG Ez-8 and the  MG RX-79[G]. these are the best way to recreate the 08th team. if you want to have some fun with it, you can get the ground type GM and take its head and put it on one of the ground gundams to make Karren's GM head gundam.

You should be able to find them on Hobby Link Japan or Gundam Store and More. If not let me know, and I will hunt them down and send them to you, as I live in Japan.

hope I helped,

Jason

Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.

Carefully.

I'm by far not the best Gundam guy here, But I have built several Gundam models before I started painting and the one thing I know is those stickers fall off.  And if you paint the whole thing its gonna be really obvious that there is a sticker in there.  Just look at how the eyes look on the sticker and copy that with a really tiny brush.  I think yours will have a black background with green eyes, but I could be worng since I've never seen F91.  Maybe someone can pipe up with a better way to do them but what I would do is paint the black down, then a coat of silver or something where the eyes will go so the green doesn't get darker and then green.  Actually if you did put down a layer of chrome silver you could do a clear green for a couple of coats.  A kandy effect eye would look closer to the glowing of the Gundams than flat green would.

And hey, if you dont want to go through all the trouble and just want a nice Gundam to look at thats cool too, they dont have to be painted.  I forget what it was but I read a trick somewhere about how to make those stickers stick better, so they maybe dont fall off.  If anyone remembers speak up.

Looks good. It wont have all the poseability of an MG but that's not that big a deal.  This way you can paint a big one without spending 40-50 dollars. My biggest suggestion, if you are planning on painting it is to chuck those stickers.  I dont know if other types of models come with better decals but the Gundam stickers are terrible.

Thanks now when you say chuck the stickers dont the stickers have the eye's?     HOw would i do them?

Thanks,

John

I like those F91s. I was seriously contemplating doing a HardyGun, but I think they went out of production; I can't find one anywhere.

When you get it done, please share it w/ us.

Welcome aboard John.

I build a lot of Maschinen Krieger and Gasaraki kits, but I have yet to finish a Gundam. However Skull Gundam, Puma Adder and Red Comet (among many others) know a lot about them; they might be able to help you out.

There are a few Gundams in our GB found here:

Maybe you'll find some advice you need.

Again, welcome.
