I had a chance to gawk through this book the other day. I just couldn't justify the expense to myself at the time, but I've asked someone to get it as a Christmas present for me. It's a beautiful book, I highly recommend it.

Keep an Eye open for those BIG...  Star wars Chronicles...   Originals and Prequels

The Brand new ones are usually 200$  but !    I bough mine thru On line stores...  in the Used section for 60$ ea.     Quite a bargain in my Case....as they both came in Shrink wraps and add minior bumps ..  almost Brand new !!!    which works for me !

They also were available as BRAND NEW  for as low as 35$  ... for a very short time...  I just missed the sale !!!  so I looked in the Used section and there they were...

Don't despair !  keep looking !

I have this one and another book that came out about 8 years ago for my SW model reference sources.  I don't think the older book is available any more but Sculpting A Galaxy on it's own is DEFINITELY a must-have for anyone wanting to do SW kits.

Just a Censored [censored] shame Paramount didn't do something similar with the Trek studio minis before auctioning them off.

It's really a must have.  Lots of great reference photos.  There are other books similar to this for Indiana Jones as well (vehicles, aircraft, etc).

"no, honey, of course that's not another new model. I've had that one for a long time..."

Todd,

Thanks, it looks really good in the ad in my book club.  Think I'll put it on my Christmas list..

OOOH YES it is a must. You will spend hours looking at all of the details in the photos. Then you will actually go back and read it.

I just noticed this book in one of my book clubs.  A question to those that have it: is it a must-have for Star Wars modelers?
