With or without shipping? Big Smile [:D]

Twenty bucks isn't too bad, but remember, you get what you pay for. If you just want a basic buildup, the AMT/ERTL kit ain't too bad.

If you want a contest piece, I'd recommend saving up and getting the Fine Molds kit:

I know, I want the fine molds, but these are avaliable, offline to me.  So I want to see if there worth that price.  And nothing I build is for contests, Im no where near ready for that.

In that case, I say go for it. I've seen them built up, and they can look pretty good.

I would pay twenty for the "Falcon, especially for the cutaway version. Its a nice enough kit especially to build either OOB or to add some enhancments to.

I would NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT pay 20 for the TIE, as much as my beloved mount is dearly loved by me, I wont spend that many Galactic Credits for the AMT/ /Ertl/ MPC TIE. I have six of them and paid only a few dollars at a show. Fit, finesse and detail are poor. I have three Vader TIEs and I first got hooked into the "rarity" of the kit to find out they are all over in the original box. I have three Vader Ties now...original light blue box.  I got most ofthem for around 8 or 9 dollars.

Just a few weeks ago the HobbyLink Japan table was selling the Finemolds kits for 15. I went bak to try to get a Y wing and they were sold out. I did manage to snage a couple of Finemolds TIE fighters tho....:)

If you are looking at Ebay for prices or to guage the price range, they are rather over inflated at this time.  Also, ni a couple of months start checking the deep discounters like Big Lots! and other similar stores, I find the SW and ST kits there sometimes.
