Seaview Completed....

Well I finally finished one of the big Seaview kits along with the Just an Illusion lighting kit.  I added some additional LED's including two in the Flying Sub and also did the PE Flying Sub Interior.  Enjoy!

Thanks for the kind words, it sure got a lot of attention, that and my son's Star Destroyer.  While this didn't get me any hardward, I did manage to snag a bronze for my Evil NX-01...

Yeah, I remamber asking about the Star Destroyer.  The "mile" of fiber optics.  I was waiting for finescale to photograph I believe, my FM-1 wildcat in the Atlantic Scheme.  Surpringly, the ones I took that I thought had a shot, didnt win.  It was my F8F bearcat, with all the added detail and open panels that took Silver in the theme class.  My HUGE Chinook took third.  and my PZL took the Best Polish Subject award.  And I love that NX-01.  I have that kit still to do, now I think I may need to find some LEDs. lol

Sure I remember you know we stood in line together to get our models photographed....

On the LED's, the best place to buy them is on e-bay, I buy the 3 & 5mm bright white for $10 for 100, with resistors and free shipping.  Then if I need a RED LED I dip it in the Tamiya Transparent Red, if I need BLUE I dip it in the Tamiya tansparent Blue.  Works great and I only have to buy one type of LED.  I know if I go the LHS they want $8 for 2 LED's with resistors....

Excellent Seaview.  Who makes a big scale Seaview?  I have seen the Polar Lights which I am not sure if it is available any more.  I love that sub and Seaquest.  I had Seaquest until my wife decided to know it over.  Great job on this!

This is the Moebius kit and it comes with the Flying Sub in scale.  List price of the kit is $120 but you can find it on evilbay for about $80....

OS = "Original Series". I dunno if this site has started using another abbreviation for the original show, but the is the common one. You make grey look good.lol

I apologize for my typos as well. I often post from work where I handle alot of complaint calls so I have to type fast.

The spelling is not an issue, as mine is not perfect either...  I understand now what you are saying, usually the acronym is TOS for The Original Series, kind of like "The Ohio State"...

I have done one of those before but it's not lit up, I do have one I am planning to do though...
