1/144 MSV GunCannon Mass Production White Dingo - Coming Soon
Posted by dj898 on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 6:47 PM
This project was started sometime last year and as my other project went through usual on & off cycle for nearly a year before finally completed - by the way I'm using "completed" as the loose term. No weapons were made for this one 'coz I'm lazy and if I need I can always use one of half dozen 1/144 weapons I built for other kits... ^ ^

Anyway, the first order of mod was putting the transparent visor. Not sure why Bandai skipped the clear visor with first batch of HGUC when it's clear that if they wanted it was easy as pie for them to incorporated...
The mod itself was not too difficult except getting the heat pressed part for the visor. Sorry not wip pictures as I wasn't taking much and what little I took were gone/misplaced.

And now fastforward to October 2008 it's done!
Here are series of close up shots before final construction.
Will put up the proper pictures once I have time to take full body shots btw~

Here you can see the components for the torso. It's basically OOB except drilling holes and above mentioned clear visor...

I've replaced the hand with some from junk box. Believe it' one of 1/144 EFF HDM resin set...
For the red bit showing through believe me from the distance you can't see really~ ^ ^;

One of the reason why this build took so long~
Had helluva time to source the WD decal. Not sure where it comes from as I got it from friend of mine - think he got it custom printed?

Completed torso with the backpack ready to be mounted.

Here you can see the all the components to make up the groin area.
As you can see I didn't even bothered with the usual split front skirt mod.
This kit was not made with the posebility in mind - besides if needed it's simple cut that will the job done~

And the left leg. I'm happy with the stock parts so no mod was necessary~

Now with both legs attached they look rather masculine don't you think~? ^ ^

The full body shot will be up in gallery section soon~

Kicks butt.  Can't wait to see the fully finished pix.  I loved Side Story as a game... well it's pretty much one of the only two Gundam games I've played, the other being Brave Saga for PSOne.
-=Ryan=- Too many kits... so little free time. MadDocWorks

very nice, I like the WZC cutting pad.  I cant wait to see this finished.

As far as gundam games, my favorite is SD G Generation 0.  You can find roms/emulators for it on any SNES rom site.  Its an amazing strategy/action game (board game play, but for combat you do a free roaming side scroll vs whatever units you fight (computers controll allies and enemies, except for you)

Gundam Battle Universe for PSP. possibly the best gundam game I have ever played. it has almost all of the UC MS including the little guy that Dj is finishing up here ITT. in fact, there are 4 different WD MS in the game. it plays alot like a faster ver of some of the better PS2 games.

Ah ok.  Well, welcome to the forum (I forgot that)  Its just there are alot of older really serious modelers (and I have been really vouching for the quality of mecha modelers)  So put on your best face around here, this isnt a noob forum my friend.  Cant wait to see your work.

salud.

i started with planes and tanks.but stopped for a long time.

got back into modeling because of gunpla.although my first mechs were the Vigna Zirah from F91 and the Dreissen from double z.

havent painted any because i havent the tools.

my hobby knife has been the paintbrush for me as i would weather them with dents and cuffs.

any help with painting gunpla with normal brushes is much needed.

fav kit.would be the Zeta A1plus.i could build it again and again.

dream kit - PG Zeta.monsta.

PS.MG Unicorn is such a painful display piece.lol.so i might start on the HGUC Ex S or Hrairoo Gaplant.

So... where was it? I can't find it in the gallery... I was curious about where do you get the "White Dingo" decal?
