Yeah, it's about 1/48. If you want scales on star wars models, go to www.starwarsmodels.com. This guy build almost every model there is so he has alotta info.

If it's a re-box of the original MPC X-wing model from the 70's, it's pretty close to 1/48th, about 1/43rd or so, according to the after-market guys... Close enough not to matter, at any rate...

X-Wing Question
Posted by wingform84 on Sunday, October 19, 2008 12:28 PM

I just bought this X-Wing kit on eBay (brand new sealed too, got lucky it was super cheap) to build for a friend's Christmas present because she's a big Star Wars fan, and I was playing around on CultTVman's Hobbyshop site and found the Aztec Dummy templates (https://www.culttvmanshop.com/shop/product.php?productid=16471&cat=300&page=1) and the Voodoo FX lighting kit (https://www.culttvmanshop.com/shop/product.php?productid=16712&cat=300&page=1) and I was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit this X-Wing.  Both of those say for 1/48 scale, but the seller says the box doesn't give the scale.
