LOL.  calm down bud.  i do feel ya though.  there are so many good UC mobile suits that should be brought to PG status before these alternate timeline garbage gets any spot.  Those 1/60 garage kits for the NT1 and Kampfer are really tempting me... but my wallet said no.

Yea, There are so many designs that would make such amazingly detailed and gorgeous PG kits in the UC, Qubeley, GP02, Hazel Custom (would sell out so fast).

Heck, if I were them, Id make smaller stuff in PG for cheaper to appease everyone, PG Ball, PG Zaku I, PG GM.  I'd LOVE a PG Ball.

Heck, not even make them 1/60th, like, get the 1/144th scale Psycho and retool it, making it like modern PGS instead of a HGUC, or do a 1/144th Psycho II in PG tooling

Well we all know how much I love seed...... Dead [xx(]....... but, I have to defend this new PG add-on kit. first of all, it is a seed astray kit, not a strait up seed scrap heap of the likes they have been forcing down our throat for the past few months with a sprinkle of UC here and there. the seed astray suits are very well done compared to their overpowered seed counter-parts. the story feels less crapy and the main charachter is a frakin normal. If anything, this kit will make the strike PG kit less...... supidly overpowered. especialy if it comes with that amazingly cool sword from the Red Frame......... Big Smile [:D]
Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.

Its just, they put out the seed kits, then the only PGs we get untill now are a rerplease of the wing 0 with oooo 'pearl parts' yea, thats what Im gona spend 300$ on, pearl parts.  then we get another seed kit.  Is it just me, or have they just completly abandoned UC?

Well as much as i wouldn't want to accept the new PG kit being from seed stuff, there had been a huge surge of UC kits in HGUC (duh that UC stood for universal century)  which covered a loooooot of the really dated older 1/144 kits, namely Zeta and 0080.   Maybe they are just trying to cover like one MS from every series before they start to do more.  And the whole focus on Seed is I'd say a marketing method to grab a whole new generation of gundam otakus.  You can't blame them for that I guess.  With the oversea broadcast, they've effectively doubled the market size compared to the old asia focused group before any gundam was shown on TV here.  I am still saddened every time I get reminded that my coworker/friend's younger sister loves Gundam, but only Gundam Wing cuz that's all she had watched.  Damn Zachs... she would've loved Char.

I dunno, Zechs is mighty dashing.

I know that the HGUC is for the UC, but there are praticly more seed kits now in 1/144 then HGUC, ALSO, HGUC is just NOT PG.

Ya know, I know you hate Seed and all, but to be fair there are many people who don't.  I don't.  I love some of the UC designs, don't get me wrong.  And I like the UC series also.  I think a PG Ball would be sweet, but I wouldn't buy it cause I wouldn't konw what to do with something that big, or know how to make it cool enough to justify the price.  But some of the Seed designs rock and some of the UC ones don't.  I would gag if I ever saw a PG Leo.  But a PG BuCue, Zaku warrior, Gouf Ignited, or yes, the big Gundams from any of the hereos or villains would look great.  Only 3 Seed PGs have been made, and really it's only two, because the strike and the skygrasper are combined in the strike rouge kit.  It's not like they have short changed UC in any way.  They already made Wing Zero, GP 01,2 Mk IIs, Zeta, 2 Zakus, and the RX-78-2.  Plus the HY2M has the Rick Dom and the Gouf.  I agree that a PG Sazabi would be a good addition to the lineup, but lets be fair to everyone's tastes.  Astray is a cool side story and Red Frame is a cool design.  You may not like Seed, but don't bash Bandai's choice in a new PG release so badly.  They are just being fair to all their customers.  Their are planty of PG kits for you to get that are from UC still, I doubt you have them all.  If you don't rush out and buy each PG that comes out then your choices when you do decide to buy one haven't been diminished in any way.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

ahh...  minor correction there.  wing is not UC.  they called it, after colony.  but yea, OMG leo is ugly...  alrite, i will let ur fighting continue, but the thing is, skullgundam, you might understand our frustration of a long time gundam fan a little better if you checked the PG history.

it's been probably ten years since the PG gundam came out.  since then we get about one new kit every year.  every time it's usually a suit that's amongst the most popular, holding the most prestigious status, most iconic choices.  amongst fans who have devoted like 20 years to the bandai model series, there are a bunch more very significant ones from the UC that haven't been touched, namely Nu Gundam.  even master grade only had like a 13 year history, but if you look at the past five years, the focus on MG and PG had mostly been on the new series.  so to us, like i had said before, bandai is riding the wave and trying to cash in as much as they can on the new stuff and only throw us a bone here and there in HGUC...  which is of course what a smart company should be doing since us addicts is pretty inelastic when it comes to demands for more UC kits.  but if you rank the gundams by seats, the next PG one should still be from the universal century before something like Astray, which is sooo far from mainstream, somehow steals the spot.

Well, like he said, the LEO is not UC, BUT the leo is the PERFECT mass produced unit.  Extremly simple, military colors, nothing fancy at all, quite fits the bill of a GI mass produced mech.

As far as the other 3, the seed ones.  What your saying is you would rahter something that looks like it came out of Zoids, or two rip off designs of UC mechs, as opposed to the origionals.  You want a PG Zaku warrior, get a zaku pg, and mod a bit.  Same with the Glorious series gouf.

If you want to get into side stories, why not realise a PG of the blue destiny, or of the Hazel custom, that would sell TONS compared to whatever astray that is.

The GP01/bf was one kit, not to, the PG gundam was the origional pg, same with the zakus (same kit, color dif, figure diff, and slightly diff head parts) came out way to long ago to count.  The MKIIs were just color variations. and the Zeta.

Seed has gotten more kits and everything then any other series, and wing was the one that relaunched gundam in the US, and that got crap.  Even if UC doesnt get another PG, give us another damned wing kit.
