I built one for my cousin a few years ago.I wish I had kept it.It's not 100% accurate, but it builds up nice.

Slowly working on one right now, partly to have an Ep4 version of the Falcon done ( though, as TD said, it's not very accurate ), and also as practice/color test for the Finemolds Falcon I'm planning on building later.  It's going together OK so far, but I need to make a few extra seats once I have a mold done.

I've built a few of these.  It builds up well enough & you should enjoy it for a first-time Falcon kit.  Yes, there are numerous inaccuracies & sometimes the detail is soft, but it's a fun one.

wow, an original SW release MF. i'd flip it on ebay and get one of the re-releases at a cheaper price (same kit but cheaper), ie return of the jedi version.

the kit is quite ok, i put a lot of extra detail in the cockpit to spruce mine up and added some figures (i used a plastic soldier, cut off the rim of his helmut and painted him gold = c3po).
