Very nice, HowieH. I really like the metallic green effect. Could you elaborate more about the paint? I got a Wave Tachikoma I want to finish in metallic blue, that Mr. Color paint you used looks perfect.

I'm w/ TD4438, I've been eyeing at that specific kit for awhile, and I may just have to spend some tax returns to get one.

Thanks for sharing it.

I cant tell you how many parts I have found that were dusted with another color, had to COMPLETLY STRIP the blast shield from my Starwars AT-RT It was finished, decalled, weathered, AND SEALED then got this beautiful crap butt dusting of red on it.

Yeah the paint looks very nice.  My first model with an airbrush (actually my only so far) turned out speckled.  I didn't realize I was spraying towards the other color parts I had just finished.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

Puma_Adder:
I airbrushed it (in fact this was the very first kit that was done by me using airbrush....:D), used a cheapy airbrush+compressor kit from Airbrush Depot (i got them for under 60 bucks) and the paint used was Mr. Color. :P

no, the MG GP01 is just an old kit and the corefighter was a little flimsy in both my kits, Fb and normal.

as for this GM, great job! did you hand paint, airbrush or spray can this?

Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.

I agree with STV, the only time I've ever had a problem is with the MG GP01 FB (I think it's that one, either that or the 1/144 ZZ).  The part that holds the core in doesn't fit right, but knowing Bandai kits, I probably just put something in a bit wrong.

Bandai puts out a superior product then anything you will find in the armor or aircraft modeling world bar none.  The kits are gorgeous, the new master grades even do well to hide the seam lines, the fits are perfect, never had two pieces NOT fit together perfect.

Not to bad at all, I love the clean white line on the coolant/energy tank for the rifle.  Though, I would say next time, try a digital camo pattern, to break up the solid wall of green, like give it a base that color, and then make digi camo with darker and lighter green

This is kit that I finished about a year ago, didn't get a chance make photos of it until recently (so....plz ignore all the dusts on the armor)

Less talking, more pictures - so here they are, hope you enjoy~
