Geier, a Ma.K original bash

We have a intra club group effort build to take the 09 concept camaro and build it. There is one rule, have it done by April 4. So, in that, I have taken mine and begun a full bash in the vien of Kow Yokoyama who created the Maschinen Krieger SF.3D universe.  this is my first bash, and since I have inherited a large box of all sorts of unknown parts I amputting them to use.

The concept camaro kit has been cut, sliced, diced, sectioned and flipped to become a hovercraft flatbed recovery vehicle, big enough to pick up a MkI or Mk II suit, peraps even cram on a Melusine if it had to, but it would be tight.

So far i have made the cab, created deck details, created a positionable crane from square tubing and multiple roadwheels, cut up a Tiger I transmisson for the drive and external engine detail and relocated a few other odds and ends. I am working the scale to be 1/35 for this kit, so figures are use to locate and position the crew seats.

I will get pics up tongiht, I cannot do it here at work...

David

ok, time for a pic update. sorry for the crappy quality this was taking in the living room and not under a light source, just the fan lamp.  the cab is becoming harder to distinguish as a car...Ma.K is known for its droopy cables so I need to incorporate some of those cables somewhere...maybe in the crane hoise assembly.

Anyway you can see the work done, i have hit it with more filler and sanded that out where needed and added a few more small parts as well as put the seats in. Getting down to crunch time to finish this thing....

Another small update. sorry, no picks today, I have to go to work to upload my photos.

I have worked on getting the windshield instaled and the lower part of the windsheild on the original Camaro where the metal meets the glass, the slotted part where the wipers are mounted. That is in and I need to finish fairing in the rest of the hood area to get rid of that big gap.

I also need to fix the crane, I broke the mount off .so I need to start over. Then it will be time to head to the paint rack!
