tanx for comment

At the time builded i thinked to pun in a diorama with one of arms ready ,with opened covers, to launch the missile, but

not found a good method to fix the covers so let the mech the posable. At the time workinn with others mechs and decided so.

The tecnique i use is my standard tecnique:

first a layer of lighter main color  , then a hand of drybrushed darkest main color on corners, panel lines and other parts;

at the end a layer of light colorr (white, grey, depending of the main color, in this case white mixed a little part of light blue) to highlighting

the corner, then a drybrush of brown and light brown and others colors near to sea weathering like boats (another color but not used can be a very dark green).

I'll put later  another of my best mechs, the dom tropen from 0083 oav.

actually workin on a diorama from 8 thms team, the scene at scale 1/144 with hovertank (scratchbuild showed in the .. scatchbuild section) an rx79g, one of latest hguc kits, ambiented near the guerrilla village. i hope to come a great work Big Smile [:D]

I like it a lot. How did you do the weathering?

He looks so very tiny there. You should make him a nice base, w/ lots of little people running for their lives. Big Smile [:D]

Yeah, heavy weathering is the way to go on a marine mobile suit. Looks great! I've always been a fan of the hygogg.

This is amazing - its exactly the look I wanted toreplicate - but you did it way better!  The mech looks used, worn, butnot overly done - the stains are perfect - please post up a how to or describe how you did those stains?

Not familiar with the Mecha, I'm guessing Gundam.

Nicely done with both the painting and weathering.

Bonus points for the tropical looking setting. Wink [;)]Thumbs Up [tup]

Hytoall!

Heres one of my favourite ms , the hy-gogg from 0080 war in the pocket.

i've tried  to use my old knowlege from scale kits to put a sort of realism on my mechs, this is one of best results.

I assume that for an amphibious mech this is a good way to weather it, ispired by old boats, i hope you enjoy it:
