Finished My Revell Imperial Shuttle
Posted by Greasy on Monday, March 30, 2009 4:20 PM

Finished it up this weekend and updated my weboage.

http://www.happinessismandatory.com/misc/Revell_Imperial_Shuttle.htm

I am pleased with the overall look but it did not come out like I had planned. I planned on it looking simpler and not so harsh looking. But this was my first time with the Tamiya Weathering Master Sets so I will have to learn not to be so heavy handed. I really improved on my washes and panel lining, mainly that you really have to thin paint more than you think you would. I am not happy with the "engine" but I could not get it to look like what I wanted it to. Overall I am happy with the model.

Any constructive critizim is welcomed.  I know their is need for improve ment, but it is nice to others prespective.

Thanks,
Jon

Another great build!  Thanks for sharing the pics.  I like the look of your website, as well.  Excellent stuff there!

Great job!  Nice site, with lots of great builds.  I enjoyed looking at all your work.

I just ordered those Tamiya powders and can't wait to try them out.

I like them quite a bit as well.  I love that they don't fade when clear coated.  Pastels are a bit easier to apply, but I figure I can over come that with time and pratace

Thanks for all the nice words.

Thanks,

Jon
