1/60 PG MBF-P02 Gundam ASTRAY [Red Frame]

long time no post for me, much less a new kit that is worth mentioning!

Well, I got one. I pre-ordered this through my local TRU (in Japan) and was plesantly suprized to get the half clear armor set with a second sword! Thats right, as if having a gundam cleaving giant katana was enough, he has two giant gundam killing katanas!

cant say to much more here as I am about to go to work as I type this, so more to come with pics once I get my camera up and running again......

nope, sorry. thats not me.

no new news on this kit as of yet. I haven't had the motovation to work on it. I can however tell you all that each sword mesures about 12 inches in length as this is the only part of the kit that is even started. the places where it connected to the sprue look ugly as all get out right now, but I have a chrome gundam pen that fixes that near perfectly.

more to come......

No problem, my friend is in Afganistan right now, he'll be back in Okinawa in a couple of weeks, same base I think. I'd love to see more progress on this kit!!!!!!! are those clay markings on the blade etched in the blade? or are they just in the chrome plating it's self?

I am fairly certain that they are molded into the blade it self and into the chrome as well. the effect it gives is looks absolutly amazing. and much like real katanas of old, both swords have a different pattern to the markings. I cant wait to get started!
