Thanks. The cape is a ball of epoxy putty rolled as thin as I dared (And STILL that thick!) and the texturing was like a talcum powder I used to keep it from sticking to my bench. Some of the parts got a little marred during construction, as I added length to all of his joints, dur to the fact that Nyax was super-tall.

Hmm... I don't know- I actually think the capes thickness adds to it's "game piece" quality, and for such a small size, I must say everything looks quite accurate.

Yeah, I would like to, but I plan on playing the piece in the game. BTW, if i didn't mention it, it's Lord Nyax

Good mate Thumbs Up [tup]

Why not to try make the cape with some paper (tissue or Vellum), I think that it could be more realistic...

Custom Star Wars mini
Posted by Boba Fett on Thursday, April 9, 2009 3:44 PM

Ok, not exactly pure modeling, but it IS figures. For the Star Wars mini game, I am making a custom mini whichi my friend is doing the stats. The body and head were cast from 2 other minis I have, and I custom did the cape and such. Right now, he needs to be cleaned up a little, and red lightsabers need to be added. Questions, comments are welcome!

Edit: YAY! post 777! IT's my lucky day!
