Enough is enough...  Here are some pictures of the mostly completed kit.  Yes I have a few serious things to fix but nothing I think you can see in the pictures:

Just a few teasers....  I have a ton more pictures on the whole build at:   http://gallery.scalehobby.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album123&page=1

Enjoy!

Thanks, I have a latex you can use to make handles for tools, it is definately not clear...  But I was going to test it before I use it on everything...

Don't use Liquid Latex.

I degrades quickly, plus it cures semi clear unless you add paint ot it for tinting.

Unless you mean latex paint.

You'd be better off shooting some black over it either Laquer or acrylic.

So I figured I'd better get some more pictures posted....

The walls are made up of 5 panels some of them have control surfaces, but they are all about the same, you apply a light defuser to the back of the panel and install an LED.  Here is the net effect:

Here is a few shots of the interior, still a work in progress but a lot of fun....

This shot shows the back side.  I have some light leaks to take care of and I am thinking of using some liquid latex.

I've been working on this for a little while and figured I better start showing some progress.  I will be using the Just an Illusion light kit along with the TSDS decals.  I picked up both the floor vinyl and the other interior decals.

Ill start off showing the floor with the Vinyl in place, along with the hexagon yellow panels.  I sprayed the botton of the floor FLoquil Engine Black to help reduce light leaks.  The first picture shows the bottom with the EL sheet already glued in place.  The part slides right over the existing pegs.  I used a little 10 minute epoxy and clamped it into place.

Now topside

And lights out...

I spent most of this weekend wraping up the seats and constructing the cage.  I used the floor as a jig to construct the cage and make sure it stayed square.  Then I lifted it off and gave it a good coat of MMM Non-Buffing Aluminum.  It's still not glued into place just yet.  The area I spent a far amount of time on is the seats.  I didn't like the kit seat belts so I scrapped them and replaced them with some 1/32 PE ones from a German set.  I think they look a lot better...
