Chaos Predator ......

My take on a GW 40k Chaos Predator. Came up with a colour scheme which allows plenty of weathering as I dont believe these boys would be big on the whole "wax n shine" thing .....

cheers

Thnx mate,

In short it was pretty straight forward. Its all GW acyrilics, Lyanden Darksun base, black shaded then drybrushed back. Some bts were lightened a bit then streaks and post shading done with GW Inks. Pretty much the same system I use on all my tanks. I don't bother with future or gloss coating anything but it does get a couple of matt spray coats during final weathering.

I've got plenty of wip pics as I ran a blog on it for a while (closed now). We'll see if theres any more interest first before boring anyone with those ..... Smile [:)]

cheers

Brent

Good looking!

Nice job on the heavy weathering, and I like the way you modeled the extra armor. I may try out the widened mantlet on mine!

Hi,   its a Games Workshop kit, a "Chaos Predator". Pretty basic detail and assembly. On the plus side theres a reasonable amount of etxra bits so you can customise the look of your vehicle. Its for designed for gaming use with 28mm figs making the vehicles close in size to 1/48th.

I, for one, would love to see a WIP on this beastie!  One of the nicest GW vehicles I have ever seen done!

Too cool.  Well done.  I've been looking at many of these at my LHS to build.  That's some good inspiration there.
