Ma.K. Polar Bear In progress
Posted by Greasy on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 4:16 PM

This is my first Ma.K. Model the Polar Bear.  I am done with basics I just have to decal and weather it.  Which is not a small job by any means.  I need to work on the hand a bit to detail it up, but I think panel lining it and washing it with grime should make it look a lot better.

Let me know what you think.  I am not real happy with the chipping but I think weathering should improve it.

Thanks,
Jon

The computer is your friend. Big Smile [:D]

Hey Greasy, for the cables on the legs, I often replace them w/ these:

You can't really see it, but its a flexible metal spring like they used to include in the old Nitto kits. Comes in different diameters, and no seams to clean up. Cool [8D]

I'll check in to the springs on my next kit.  I am going to dry brush and weather the cables so it should hide some if the seams.

 Thanks for the tip though.
