A slightly "different" AT-AT....
Posted by Barruel on Monday, May 4, 2009 6:10 PM

Hi guys

This is my last "mini-project".

It all started with a diecast model I got with a Star Wars magazine. I removed the original paint and started thinking of a different scenario for my AT-AT.

One thing led to another, and all of a sudden I had some N scale figures to add life and human dimension to the scene.

The result was this:

I hope you like it!

Best regards

Antonio

Nicely done.

like the paint job on the walker as well s the base.

I've seen a few German WWII versions but never a Russian (?).

What does the russian say? I know that "svoboda" means freedom but what does "smert k faluistam" mean? my "Goboryu po russky" is a little "Govoryu po rusty."

Beautiful job on the dio. looks right at home on Earth. I wonder who Palpatine would have joined if he had happened upon this planet from his far far away galaxy. He probably would not have joined anyonw but rather just enslaved the whole planet. One of those carillion ships would have made short work of our primitive Earth. I think I'll build one stepping on a panzer IV, That'll be cool!!

Hi

Thanks for the comments!

As for the russian slogans, according to my sources (Altavista Babel Fish!)  they shoud say, on the rigth side, "Freedom", and on the left side, "Death to the Fascists".

I apologize for the handwriting!
