For mine I used:

backpack: 4x 8mm deep 11mm wide  KMedium
               2x 8mm deep 14mm wide FThruster set

shoulders: 4x 5mm deep 6mm wide   GThruster set

hips:        4x 8mm deep 9mm wide  KMedium

calves:     2x 7mm deep 8mm wide KSmall

legs:        4x 9mmx9mm KMedium
              2x 10mmx12mm KLarge

The only modifications I needed to make was to saw off 2mm or so from the mount for the calf thrusters (you can do this right at the panel line) for the calf thrusters to fit properly within the armor cowling.

With some Model-up bits, especially the foot thrusters and ex verniers, for additional interior detail along with some mechaskunk baffles, t-thrusters, and especially model-up baffles. Also the Model-up foot thruster pins are perfect for the head vulcans.

looking good, can you list what thrusters you are using from mecha skunk?

for the hqo set is that the 1 from ebay? cause thats the only place i can find it, and it doesnt have the orange center like yours. and details on them to?

would be a big help with my own sinanju.

Thanks

Glad to see another Sinanju in progress!

Working up my review, have to say the selection of mechaskunk thrusters fit perfectly. your HQO's look really neat. What did you use for the head vulcans?

Looks like you're going the total opposite of mine, with glossy red and flat black. Can't wait to see more!

I started building this Sinanju a bit ago - but had to put everything on hold for a bit waiting for parts. I am using a lot of mechaskunk parts, but I am also using a set of HQO set of metal/brass turned thrusters, head cannons, energy cable links and other tid bits specifically made for this kit. So far, the fit is PERFECT!

Here is the completed head and torso. I stayed with traditional colors on this one - except instead of black and gold I used german gray and brass. The brass needs some work still....sadly, it looks perfect in person, but the macros setting on a 8 mega pixel camera reveals a lot of flaws. I specifically did not want a smooth finish on the brass and went for a more textured approach. Although you cant really see the eye - I used a mechaskunk 1/144 green jewel eye with a metal socket. You can only see it from certain angles.

The decals are Bandai and mechaskunk

The backpack - first stage - main metal thrusters (these suckers are huge and with brass turn rings they are HEAVY

backpack "wings" and smaller thrusters

began working on the fuel pods - I used a slightly pearl white instead of regular Tamiya pure white - as you can see the effects are subtle, but I like it. Those main pod seam lines were a B----CH to fill and sand, fill and sand lol

I also robbed a Unicorn gun - I love the way that thing looks - might use it for Sinanju

and various other tidbits
