I love it, it looks freaking awesome. Looking at this makes me want to make more models. I just hate sucking since I've only made one and it looks like garbage. I have one sitting in my closet a star trek ship, but i'm too chicken to ever do it haha.

 Looks pretty good. Cool [8D]

Sometimes on my Ma.K.s the decals will silver a little. I take a very fine brush, and touch up the silver spots w/ the original color. if I dont get it perfect, it looks like the markings chipped a little bit. then I weather as normal.

Great work on that, StV!  I don't think the purple looks at all bad.  Especially w/the weathering to cover it a bit.

(Excellent work on yours, too, Greasy! And nice build article.)

You might could weather your decals that would help cover some mistakes.

I just used some 800 grit paper and a very liht though.  I think it helped.
Your looks cool anyways.  I have just over time how to cover my mistakes.

time for a lil bit of explination now it isnt late and im thinking.  I built the kit more or less oob.  The modifications I did were 75% from the boxart and 25% from me (since only 4 mods)

That is the box, I took the art, noticing the cables on the gun arm and on the back of the feet-to-ancles that wernt included in the kit, and used mechaskunk snake chains of various sizes to replicate this.

For the bit that was mine, I hollowed out the barrel of the gun and put a mechaskunk straight tube bead inside of the barrel, you can see one in the wip shots (not alot of them...) on the gallery under the pic

That's pretty cool, Smeagol.

Did I tell you I went to some schooling in Philly, I lived on South Broad, way back when?  1920 S broad or so, down by the Tasker Morris stop.

Your reference to the Pocs reminded me you post from my old stomping grounds.
