Gizmotron Models 1/2500 Scale U.S.S. Kelvin Kit

For those who'd like an idea of the size of the kit next to something we all already know, here's a pic I took today of my review sample next to an ERTL TOS 1701:

I've got an In-Box Preview sent in to Starship Modeler that'll have more pics and, of course, more info w/my thoughts on the kit.

Thanks for the size comparison shot. I think you'd mentioned on SSM that the decals were sparse (for a Gizmotron kit, anyways). Can you post a picture of those?

Sure thing, man.  When I said "sparse", that's more because of the lack of markings on the CGI model from what I've seen instead of anything lack on the part of Angelo of Gizmotron.  The only thing he could have really added would have been to add the aztec pattern and that likely would've caused the price of the kit to go up at least $5.

Angelo will be sending me an advanced copy of the Early Klingon Bird of Prey from ST:ENT in the next week or so, as well.

Thanks for posting the decals. I'm used to seeing the aztec pattern on his decals as well, so these do look sparse by comparison. Nevertheless, I think I may have to snag one of these.
