Back to the bench!
Posted by Ti4019 on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 1:22 PM

New name, old face, and I see a lot of new faces and up to date projects here, quite enlightening to see!  I went by PatlaborUnit1 before but I could not recover the account. Oh well, it was only a post count and that's meaningless.

After a fairly long (for me)  hiatus I have returned to the active bench and am now back to work!  I took most of a year away from the hobby working on other projects. Now, It's time for me to get back to the table.  I will try to get some pics up tonight of various projects.

I have a new ARC 170 cockpit almost finished for the SW group build project, and a totally un-SW like paint scheme for it. I finished a 25MM West End Games Tusken Raider and sent that to the R6 Regional Saturday. My Wappa finally got done. I even started a vacform kit!  Let's see what I can finish before years's end.

Glad to see you back!  I was just wondering the other day why I hadn't seen a post from you in a while.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

Thanks guys!

building costumes pretty much ate my life, trooping in them on weekends took just about every free weekend I had. It was almost like my Army Reserve days, only that drill came up two or three times a month.

i am working on cleaning and restoring order (to the bench, not the Galaxy) tonight.

yeah that was awesome! I would have loved to have been there for that!   While I really hate biulding for others and wont do commissions anymore, that is the kind of project that I get energized about, because its for an acheivement, and the Baron certianly earned that one!
