Genertions AMT bird of prey

I started the AMT Bird about a week ago,  here are the progress pics  I started with thr base coat of Tamiya Field grey TS-78,  they I painted the induvidual pannels with  Inte green and Med fireld green.  After that set up I went over the small details all over with some gunmetal and some grey here and there..

I then added the small rust details and did some dry brushing here and there with aluminum,  once that set up I applied a filter of black oil paints to the entire ship, then went back and with a slightly thicker mixture did a wash to bring the pannels out.  once that set up for a day ot so I sprayed the whole thing with lusterless flat.

I will post the final pics in a few days.

Cool, nice progress so far. It looks suitably grungy for a Klingon ship.

Not so sure about that barbie mug it's sitting on though - is that Klingon aproved?

Cool. Kilingons have kids too, so they'd probably let you slide in that case.

Plus, it let's the little ones feel like they're helping out... Cool

Nice!

Never really understood the whole weathering thing on spacecraft other than faded paint but hey the Bird of Prey lands on planets so in this case weathering fits!
