Beautiful piece of work but really the War Machines should be copper coloured and the heat ray 'eye' on the cobra head should be yellow/orange

Gentlemen! You can't fight in here; this is the WAR ROOM!

Looks good, especially the whole turret blowing up.  What did you use to paint the explosion? I like the whole WOTW thing but I've never been into the 1950's version.  Retreokit came up with a tripod kit a couple of years back, but I couldn't afford it and it is out of production now.

Perhaps the most important lesson I have learned is that you should never argue with an idiot. The people around you may not be able to tell the difference.

Here is Pegasus kit of the War of the Worlds vignette with 2 Martian war machines and 2 shermans, one I used epoxy putty to simulate the turret being blown off. Everything was painted spray can black, then painted with Citadel acrylics.
