Never give up; Never Surrender!!!!

While on a hobby shop run with my club members, I ran across the Galaxy Quest NSEA Protector ship by Pegasus Models. The box art is nice and the pieces look pretty well molded' but I haven't test fit anything yet. I'm not familiar with Pegasus kits too much; except that I've seen a few of their other sci-fi kits around and they look to be decent. Anyone have any experience with these?

The fit overall is really good.  Almost snaps together.  A little filler and sanding is needed on the seams, no more than other kits.  The instructions do not mention the little magnets that fit in the lower hull and the command deck.  These powerful littlle buggers help to hold the detachable command deck onto the the main hull.  I've gotten it together and am in the painting stage now.  So far, I think this is a really well done kit and it's not expensive either.  Oh yeah, while the parts are numbered on the sprues, they are not referenced with numbers in the instructions.  But as there are not many parts it's not a problem.

cool! I look forward to starting it! Though the movie was a bit campy (except for Sigourney Weaver), the actual ship looked nice!

Already working on this one myself.  The instructions didn't mention the magnets and I didn't figure it out until after I'd already cemented the relevant parts together, so I won't have the separating bridge option.  Oh, well.  One less thing to lose due to kids and cats.
