Great work!  I'm about to take a third pass at the shuttle myself ( my first was destroyed when a shelf fell over and the second was lost in a move ).

Star Wars Tie Fighter & Imperial Shuttle

I'm usually strictly a car guy, but like most guys my age I'm also a Star Wars fan. I've recently tried my hand at doing some sci-fi modelling. The kits are built OOB and weathered. I'm not a rivet counter, so I don't worry about perfect accuracy.

The Tie Fighter is a pre-painted snap kit that I re-painted.

And here is the Shuttle, built from an old AMT kit. Both kits had custom base colours that were lightened or darkened for effect.
