Oh, that tank from Tron should look nice.

A coworker is making something from the Mario bros universe (not sure what it is) but sair he tried with a stiffer thicker paper but that it tends to break instead of bending. So he went back to regular paper. I guess it's a matter of trying different types.

i know what you mean about the limitations of paper, i've got a couple on my workbench, one 'Road warrior' xb falcon and the other a SW jawa sandcrawler. while and ok way to model, most of the panels don't stay straight (may have been better with stiffer/thicker paper) and there are gaps caused by the limitations of the material that leave unsightly white edges. i'll post pics if i ever finish them, but they aren't looking too hot atm.

Ok, so this might belong to the odd and ends but anyways...

Some coworkers (who are not scale modelers) started to build paper models in between workloads and as they know I build models invited me to join. I wasn't very enthusiastic about it until I saw the instructions for a paper MadCat (from BattleTech universe)... I have a vynil one without the instructions and I thought this will be good practice. So here it is:

It took me about 8 hours divided into three afternoons and while my coworkers were impressed I'm not really satisfied. While it's faster and cheaper plastic/resin offer much more possibilities, depth and less blockiness lol.

Oh, and die paper Rabbids, die!
