I guess it's slow everywhere but I have a feeling it's going to get worse before it gets better. You should really try to laminate some plexi, you'll be surprised how strong it is. Plexiglass is all I use on my lathe for model parts and it's really cheap compared to styrene. I'll be lloking forward to those pictures.

so.  sorry about the slow down,  i hope it will pick up again.   i don't really like Plexiglas,  it cracks too easily, but i do have several dozen .80 and .60 sheets of poly styrene to use, so no real crisis.    i am hoping to dump pics of the uss Alexander on the sight by the middle of this week, if my camera cooperates.

Sorry it took me so long to answer, I just don't get over to FSM much anymore. As far as the 1/8 styrene sheet scrap I get, I'm a little low right now due to slow downs at work. I do have a suggestion that might work for you. Have you thought about plexiglass? It's the same thickness and much stronger when laminated together. You can buy it at the home improvement store and it welds together with acetone, which the home improvement stores also sell.
