..............Both of issues of the of the Polar Lights C57D have the same tooling and, of course interior details.  There are a number of photos of the interior on the Round Two site.

Thanks for the info.  I have the 1.48 scale Jupiter II.  I was wondering about the C57D because I had only seen the innards of the old kit, not the updated one.  If the only difference is the figures I suppose I'll snag the newer one.  It seems to be less expensive as well.

............Polar lights did the first release of the original C57D and Round Two re-released the 1/72 scale model under the Polar Lights Name; not Moebius.  The main difference is the current release of the C57D comes with 1/72 scale figures of the main characters, crew and, of course the Monster From the Id, in clear yellow or orange plastic, from "Forbidden Planet". The only figure in the two thousand two release was Robby the Robot............Ten years ago Polar Lights also released the Jupiter Two from "Lost in Space"  in 1/48th scale. Recently Moebius released a new tool 1/35th version which is much more detailed given the larger scale if that is the one you are thinking about. There are a number of photos of the finished model on the Mobius sight.

Hi.  I was wondering if anyone had any info on just what the differences are between the various Polar Lights and Mobeus C57D Star Cruiser model kits.  Are there any differences in the kits themselves or is it just an issue of a different box but the same kit.  I am going to pick one up and I want to get the best one available.  Thanks.
