You tha man Mad-Modeler, nice to see someone thinking of others and not just about themselves.  Refreshing to say the least.Smile

Yes, it is possible to go on-line and reserve that much anticipated kit one has been looking for.

I used Hobby Search for this, they seemed to have a better discount right now, though HLJ has maybe a better ship rate.  One's choice of flavor I guess.Stick out tongue

I also pre-ordered a couple kits:

1. Heavy SAFS Special Edition 1/20  $26.00 f/kit, will see this one sell probably f/$35.00 after release.  This is a new SAFS w/a new pilot w/working helmet visor.  A cool kit.

2. 1/35 Nutrocker, available Dec,  and as has been pointed out, come w/2 suits, a Gustav and a Mel, both in 1/35.  So you can breath easy fellow Ma.Ker's, you no longer have to stress trying to find the 1/35 D3 Works Gustav to pair up w/the Nut, they already give you one.  I paid $62.00 f/kit, watch for this one be be well over $100.00 when released.  Guys, the amount with ship is well worth going to either HLJ or Hobby Search and reserve you copy.  You save money and when these are available, you get them and do not have to wait for months to show up in you LHS.

The above thread has a link to a Video, if you are into Ma.K, this is a must.  I have saved to my computer to just watch whenever I wish.  As you watch, all vehicles and SAFS, all are Ma.K models used in the shooting of this little video.  Do yourself a favor and watch it.Yes

Ditto Have Fun

Thanks for posting this MM

I like to pre-order kits for a few reasons.

1.) I usually got them in hand within a week after release.

2.) Many online shops offer discounts which can help offset shipping costs.

3.) Many shops tend to jack up prices.

4.) It helps my build schedule as I know when kits become available, most makers got a fixed date every month for kit releases. So it helps the budgeting too.

5.) As GM  said you are guaranteed your copy/copies.

Granted doing a  bit of research into  shipping methods and their pricing tables can help reduce costs to what include in each order.

Some useless Trivia on that Video.

It was made in 1985 and is official SF3D stuff. The version is the original one(language, etc), was available on VHS and been also available on and off online for about 10yrs.

Still looking for the short life-action Video that was made for Patlabor.

Need to finish a Hiace model today, client asked if I could one for his son. 2-day Build, kit is rather basic and has few parts.

Tonight off to Hong Kong(3 days) with Client and late next week will be back home.
