RTAW 1-A1(ROUGH TERRAIN ATTACK WALKER)
Posted by MrT on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 11:38 AM

Because of a love of robot models, and the recent interest in alternative universe and 1946 subjects being offered by some companies, about a year ago I took on the project of making my own version of one of these machines.  I have a pretty extensive wip on another site, but here are pictures of the progress so far.   The model is about 95% scratch built.  There is alot of parts from the spares box and the turret is a Verlinden 76mm Sherman.  Tell me what you guys think and questions and comments are always welcome.

Nice looking piece of art. Could you post a couple pics of the undercarriage? Love what you've done.

Cool looking beast!

Loved the walking mechanism, but the "landing pads" could be a little bit larger to better distribute the global weight.

Thanks Barruel!  I thought the smaller one's would work better in a rubble filled enviroment.  See the finished model over in the armor forum.
