LOVE - Light Overall VEhicle - Finished 03/10/11
Posted by Barruel on Monday, February 28, 2011 2:09 AM

According to Mr Lennon and Mr McCartney, all you need is LOVE.

I agree, so I would like to share with you my new Project: The Light Overall VEhicle.

Or LOVE, for short.

Here are some  pictures:

Well, the mouse itself it is self-explantoroy.

I would like only to add that "LOVE Industries Inc" are not in any sort affiliated with Microsoft Corporation

The wheels came from an old Tamiya 1/35 Saladin, the cockpit was scratched with assorted bits and pieces, and the figure is a MK35 resin figure, slithly modified.

I hoje you enjoy it, because all you need is Love....always remember that!

Howdy!

I'd rather call it the wild thing, if we want to keep it close to music. It's very creative for sure. Nicely done and fun to watch, thanks for sharing

it's nice to see all that beautifully rendered mousework put into something useful. You know a mouse based Group Build would be a cool idea.

Thanks for the nice words!

After the previous initial work I fine-tuned some minor details to enhance the vehicle performance.

And after that, it was time for some color!

aThe terrain:

Then some primer:

And finally some base color and some markings:

Next stop: Weathering City.

I hope you like it!

Thanks for the comments.

A little update on the weathering. This time I tried some color pencils to simulate scratches.

A closer look:

I think it is a easier alternative to the "sponge and brush "techniques, but, as always, it is a personal choice!

As for the figure, it is also almost finished:

And that is all for now.

Thanks for watching!

And after a few days of intense and forced weathering...LOVE is ready to go!

That's all for now. It has been a really fun project!

Thanks for watching and feel free to ask any questions.
