Put 'er on the Roof!!!

Here she is almost finished....  The Moebius 1/350 Seaview with the ODG Studios base.  I added an LED w/Fiber Optics to light the nose and tried to do the observation deck.  Since the pictures I've added some Gel Medium to simulate water run off and future to make it all look wet....

Hope she travels and does well at WonderFest in a month or so...  Enjoy!!!

Love the water effects! Two questions...I'm assuming you used some sort of acrylic gel medium for the water base, how did you give it the oval shape? Also, how did you create the splashing water around the sub?

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks for the kind words...

Regarding the base, I can't take any credit for that other than paint.  You can buy one of them here:

I added the base and paint....  I dry brushed the white caps, then applied a generous layer of Futrue to make it all look wet.  I'll get some more pictures posted as I added a fair amount of Gel Medium to make it look like water running of the sub...
