Very cool! I've seen photos of the kit in books on Trek collectables for years but I think this is the first one I've seen built up, great job!

Thanks. It was a fun build. Just the kit some glue and brush paint.

I agree, I would love to see a styrene Kirk/Gorn kit.

Looks very nice !  Alien( I know Spock is in no real danger because of the color of his shirt.....Whistling)

A very colorful and attractive build.

A shame similar scale styrene kits of the other crew members were never issued; I didn't care to work on the vinyl kits.

I built this not long after R2 rereleased the old AMT kit.

 

It was a very nice nostalgic build. Straight from the box, no airbrush, filling, decals, aftermarket stuff.

 

I did modify the shape of Spock's manpurse and paint it to look like a tricorder
