I've got the original 1/144 release.  I built it when I was in college.  Yours looks great, I like the chipped paint.  I'd like to upgrade to the MG kit, but I have the same reaction... expensive!

It is the 1/100 scale MG. A kit normally out of my price range, but it was tax return time so i decided to treat myself.

Glad you like it.

The base it is sitting on was something i built for a different kit, but i needed something for the pics. I may still build another base for Sazabi himself. Big Smile

Very nice Dr.  Is that the MasterGrade version?

I agree with you on the decals.  I know Bandai wants to make the Gundam kits easy to build, but putting stickers in the box is just an insult.

This kit was a lot of fun to build. Being my first Gundam out of the box, i didnt really know what to expect, but i am impressed with the way it is designed. It needed very little glue and everything fit like a charm. My only real complaint was the stickers as decals.

not the best pics, but i took some inside and a few more outside.
