Looks great. In second pic you can kinda get the idea of how the finish looks and reacts to light

Finished my Battlestar. Just a run of the mill build really. Good for beginner modelers.

I did do one thing nice - Pre-Shading. I primered the model then preshaded panels in flat black. After painting it LIGHTLY with steel I have the effect I wanted. As you turn the model the panels change their reflection or "tone" as some metals do. Hard to photograh but it looks quite nice in person.

 

 

Paints used - generic primer & flat black for shading. Model Masters Steel and Burnt Metal on the hull. A light dry-brush of flat black in the corner areas.
