Finemolds models

Are these the greatest kits EVER, or what? I absolutely cannot get over how good these kits are, quality and price-wise! Small as they are (1:72) the level of detail is astounding! I am currently working on a few TIE Interceptors, and with a Slave I coming out (tentatively) next month, I am SO a happy camper!

And Kudos to Hobbylink Japan for offering the kits to us Yanks!

I too was really impressed. When I built my x-wing, I was astounded that such a good sci-fi kit was produced. Fit was perfect and what really struck me was the attention paid to engineering the kit for easy assembly.

Finemolds kits are excellent! I have the TIE fighter and the Jedi Starfighter kits. Amazing detail in such a small scale.

I bought the x-wing kit for 30 (english) and was so impressed i started accurizing an old (small scale) ertl jobbie according to it. The molding is so crisp and the detail amazing. I'm waiting for the next releases after slave 1 with baited breath, can't wait to see what they are. (anyone know anything on this front btw?)

RUMOR ( and that's all they are at this point, nothing from Japan yet- DANG those people are stubborn! LOL) has it that it might be a Y-wing, or something else from the Rebel side. They like to alternate.

Personally, I see a falcon coming next year, IF they make enough money from a larger scale kit like the Slave I...

Great kits, I have two X-Wings, a TIE Fighter and a Jedi Fighter. Can't say enough good things about them.

They also do superb WW2 Japanese armor kits. I have several, the Type 3 Medium tank, Type 94 and Type 95 tanks. Superbly done armor kits.

Guys, get the TIE Interceptor. It is a little better than the first TIE, especially the wing panels. The cockpit builds up the same, but it has a few different details on it, so it's not the same!

And DON'T DROP the pilot on the carpeted floor! UGH.
