Maybe not soo, but my connection at bandai tells me it is in the pipeline.

As for Gudnam Seed it is the latest show broadcast and thus naturally receives extra attention.

After Turn A it looked like Bandai was dropping Gundam altogether, but only continued due to the fan base in japan. Turn A was a colossal flop over here, kits never really sold, etc.

Still waiting for a Zaku-Tank(not shown) done in 1/100 MG quality, only seen a conversion/scratchbuild so far at a con.

it would be cool if there's a fictional tank from the gundam series.

I’m a newbie Gundam modeler myself. I have one unbuilt (an MG EZ-8 from ‘8th MS Team’) but I’ve built several snap-together kits from the Gundam Wing universe. The Gundam story concept covers 3 or more ‘universes’ –unrelated story lines that use the Gundam robot.

The original is about a time in the future when there are several large space colonies at various Lagrange (spelling?) points in Earth orbit. One set of colonies wants to declare independence from the United Earth Federation government and a civil war starts. The rebel space colonies use ‘Zaku’ mobile suits and the Gundam enters the story as the first mobile suite made by the Federation. Several series (most of the Gundam series, I believe) are based on this storyline and spans many years. The story purposely never gives a definitive good guy/bad guy label to either side.

Gundam Wing is about a 5 Gundams, each from one space colony, coming to Earth with it’s pilots and performing subversive acts against the Earth government in the name of independence for the space colonies.

The G-Gundam universe is about various Gundam designs being used in a tournament style combat.

Almost all the Gundam stories deal with political power struggles, the horror of war and personal loss and other rather heavy subjects. I found the original story line to be the best with the ‘8th MS Team’ and ‘Stardust Memories’ my favorites from them.

My apologies, I just opened the kit and the big yellow ½ off sticker was covering the G-Gundam logo in the upper left hand corner. Not that I'd know the difference between a G-Gundam and Gundam Wing charcter. Impressive looking kit with a boxload of parts inside. The box also advertises a skill level 10 kit in 1/60 scale with over 500 parts. That would be an amazing kit to see.

This should be a fun build.

I can tell you all about gundam sense Ive seen 90% of all gundam.

The master gundam is technicly a bad guy mech piloted by Master Asia for Neo china I belive in the 13th mobile fighter torunrament. I havnt seen much G-gundam but I can say that Master has two wings that fold over so it can be in a non fight mode, it has extendable hands like the Zeong, and I belive it has a dark version of God gundams God finger.

I can't think of anything of the top of my head. I'll see what I can dig up over here. I'm sure I've seen pics in the likes of Hobby Japan & Japan Hobby but I don't have a scanner myself. If I come across anything I'll see what I can do to to get 'ya some reference photos. - Calvin

I picked up a Gundam Wing kit at my local Suncoast movie store. It is the HG Master Gundam (he looks like a bad guy) in 1/100 scale. Does anyone have any background on the kit or the brief history of this particular character?

The kit looks rather neat, and it was 50% off ($10.99 from $21.99) so a decent price.
