Very nice work. I'm not a fan of the NX-01's refit look at all, but you have done beautiful modeling work here, and the paint job and details look great., especially considering the scale you were working with.

I have enjoyed all the Star Trek shows and I thought “Enterprise” fit into the story line very well. The series premier was an eye opener when Archer Looked into T’Pol’s eyes and said he was restraining himself from knocking her on her ass. The human language in times of character frustration was more in line with today’s human reactions. However, every Star Trek series had it’s clunker (very bad) episode but I do think that Enterprise was a victim of Paramount wanting to keep its child safe from the eventual buy out of the UPN network. Three more years of the series would have been just fine with me! Thank you for the informartion as I had no idea that the series was scxheduled for a ship reconstruction modification. Magoo

Andrew Magoo

Did Paramount/Enterprise executives plan on this concept?

The concept is from John Eaves, and that was where they were planning to go with it next season of enterprise, but it was cancelled. if only they'd given them one more season, the show was just starting to hit it's stride.

excellent model and really looks the part.

Very nice “missing link”. Remember Trip Lives !!!

Just beautiful!  My favorite so far is the second photo. Against the blue background, looking at the bottom engineering section, you just get this impact; you know this thing is really going to go somewhere. Great job!

I am impressed with the markings.  Very good job on something that size.

Very cool! Looks like the natural evolution from the NX class to the Connie. I'm always amazed at all the cool aftermarket stuff you can find these days.

And your aztec decals ain't too shabby either Wink

That is a very nice job, the refit is extremely interesting. Did Paramount/Enterprise executives plan on this concept? I know from an interview i watched they were going to go into the Federation/Romulan war that was always been hinted and talked about in the various shows, oh well water under the bridge now. Good job, Magoo

You did a really great job. I find the 1/1000 scale ships awkward to work with. Too tiny for my fat clumsy fingers.

All of your detailing is spot on. Great build.

I saw the resin conversion from Starcraft to make the Polar Lights 1/1000 NX-01 into a Refit that looks like it would fit into a story line of how the Constitution Class might have come to evolution.  So had to give this a try.  The fit and instructions were great.  I also added JDecals aztec decals instead of doing the masks like I normally do.  They went down great but I wish I'd broken them down a bit more than I did..  Enjoy!!!!
