Yep! This kit has been followed heavily in PL's Hobbytalk forum. Dave Metzner, head of the PL Quality Control team, has promised that this is their most detailed kit to date! They've been so picky about details & getting it right, that the date for release has been pushed back by about four months now. If test shot #5 looks good, the kit will ship sometime in late February. Over 240 parts with about (I think) 40 clear ones, this little beaut was built with lighting in mind! Everything that you see lit on the show can be lit on the kit. MSRP of about $40.
Personally, I can't wait to get my grubby mits on one!!

looks like a beautiful kit.i like a larger scale model and it seems i'll get what i want. does anyone have any info on the klingon battle cruiser other than what's on the playimg mantis web site?

It's in scale with PL's current offering of the TOS Enterprise- 1/1000- which will make for some fun diorama possabilities. It also should be out within the next month or so.
