My first Maschinen Kreiger build
Posted by GlueItGood on Friday, August 5, 2011 11:51 AM

Newest kit to hit the bench (and stay there) is the Falke Pkf.85. Mine is being customized as a recon vehicle (Pkf.85-D 'Ghost ReCon'). I have a few photos available now and will post more later.

Blog has all the photos:

Thanks for looking.

DrShrinker,

Thanks for the comment. I spent many hours trying to get the instrument panel just right (only 90% happy with it currently). I originally drilled out the OOB panel but wasn't happy with it, so I ground down the detail and started from scratch. I bought some dashboard dials for 1/24 cars and went to work re-creating it.

Here is one of the sets I got: http://www.megahobby.com/gaugebezelsdigitalclearfacesonblackbackground1-241-25modelcargarage.aspx.

I have a few more items to finish before the cockpit is done but have to wait until I am ready to install it before closing the main body.

Thanks again for looking. More updates soon.

Kevin
